At a glance: camera frames are processed on your iPhone and discarded — video is never saved or uploaded, and RunAlign does not use the microphone at all. RunAlign keeps numbers (joint positions during checks, per-window results, and run summaries) stored only in the app on your iPhone. RunAlign has no account system and no servers, sends nothing to us or to any third party, and includes no advertising or analytics.
1. Camera processing
RunAlign uses the camera, with your permission, to estimate body pose while you run on a treadmill: the positions of your head, trunk, hips, knees, and ankles during short check windows. This computer-vision processing takes place entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks. Frames are held in memory only long enough to measure them and are then discarded; RunAlign does not save or upload photos or video.
RunAlign does not use the microphone and does not record audio. The voice cues you hear during a run are speech generated by the app; nothing you say is captured or transcribed.
You can revoke camera access in iPhone Settings. Checks will not work while camera access is disabled.
2. What stays on your iPhone
The app saves local records and preferences so that you can review History, follow your Trend, and keep your calibration baseline. Records may include:
- Check type (side or front), date, planned and actual duration, check interval, and the treadmill incline you entered.
- Per-window results: the band (good, drifting, or fault) for each monitored signal, step counts, and summary readings such as your collapse minute and good-form share.
- Calibration results and your personal baseline values.
- Your free-run allowance ledger (which completed runs have counted toward the free allowance) and purchase status as reported by the App Store.
- App preferences, such as your chosen interval and incline.
Records are stored in the app's local storage on your iPhone. RunAlign does not operate a user account service or store your records on a developer-operated server, and records are not synchronized to any cloud service by the app.
3. On-device analysis
Every number and sentence in a RunAlign report is produced by deterministic code running on your iPhone. RunAlign does not use cloud AI services, does not send measurements anywhere for analysis, and works fully offline. No internet connection is needed to run a check, hear voice cues, or view History and Trend.
4. Retention, deletion, and backups
Local records remain on your iPhone until you remove them. You can delete an individual run in History; deleting the app removes its local app data, while offloading the app may retain data.
Local app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups managed by iOS. RunAlign does not control those backups. Deleting records in the app does not erase earlier backups. Use Apple's backup settings to manage those copies.
6. Support email
If you email shelfsense.ai.inc@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report. Support mail is handled through Gmail.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle and follow up on your request. You can ask for deletion by contacting the same address. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or sensitive information. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete records that exist only on your iPhone.
7. This website and service providers
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies to this website. Its images and styles are served from the same site. There is no mailing-list signup.
Gmail processes support correspondence under Google's applicable terms and privacy policies. See Google's privacy policy.
8. Purchases
RunAlign offers optional in-app purchases under the name RunAlign Pro: monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Your first four completed full runs are free. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, see, or store your payment details. The app checks your purchase or subscription status on your iPhone through Apple's StoreKit service; no purchase information is sent to us or to any third party. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
9. Advertising and analytics
RunAlign does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs, and it does not collect data for advertising or profiling. Apple may process device backups or system diagnostics according to your device settings and Apple's policies.
