At a glance: RunAlign monitors treadmill running form and speaks a cue after every check. It is not a medical device. 1. Using RunAlign
By using RunAlign you agree to these terms. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. What RunAlign is and is not
RunAlign monitors running posture and load-related signals with your iPhone camera during treadmill runs and offers form cues for personal training awareness. RunAlign is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any injury or medical condition, and its measurements have not been clinically validated. Cues in the app are general training information, not medical advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with questions about a medical condition, and stop running and seek advice if you feel pain.
3. Free runs
RunAlign includes 4 free completed full runs in total, shared between the Side Spine/Load Check and the Front Alignment Check. A run counts when it finishes and is saved with at least one completed check window. A run that ends before any check completes does not count, and deleting a saved run does not restore a free run. Runs you complete while RunAlign Pro is active do not use the free allowance. We may change the size of the free allowance for new users in the future; runs you have already used are not affected retroactively.
4. RunAlign Pro: subscriptions and lifetime
RunAlign Pro unlocks unlimited monitored runs, all checks, trends, and trend export. It is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The price shown in the app comes from the App Store for your country or region and may change; any change follows Apple's rules and notice requirements.
Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered (currently 7 days on the yearly plan), it converts to a paid subscription automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Unused trial time is forfeited if you buy another plan, as handled by Apple.
Offer codes: Promotional offer codes may be issued from time to time (for example, a discounted first year on the yearly plan) and are redeemed through Apple's redemption flow. A code's terms are shown when you redeem it.
Cancelling: You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the plan stays active until the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime: The Lifetime purchase is a single payment for ongoing access to RunAlign Pro features in the app. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Purchases are processed by Apple
All payments are made through your Apple Account under Apple's terms. We do not receive or store your payment details. Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
6. Acceptable use
Use RunAlign only for its intended personal purpose and in compliance with applicable law. Do not attempt to bypass the free-run allowance or purchase checks, reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it despite this term, or use the app in a way that infringes the rights of others. Use the app only while running on a treadmill in a safe environment; do not let voice cues distract you from safe treadmill use.
7. Your data
RunAlign processes camera frames on your iPhone and stores records only in the app, as described in our privacy policy. Your records belong to you. If you share a summary, you are responsible for the copies you create.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, text, and software are owned by the developer and protected by applicable law. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the app without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Measurement results depend on lighting, clothing, treadmill setup, and phone placement and are provided for personal information only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the app is limited to the amounts you paid for RunAlign Pro in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these terms; the current version will always be on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this website.
